Who is Eligible for a Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Upgrade?
Not all Verizon Wireless customers are qualified for a new cell phone upgrade. At this time, Verizon Wireless allows customers that qualify to upgrade when they renew their contract.
Eligibility results are dependent upon both the length of time since your last upgrade and your current rate plan as well as missed payments, suspensions on your account, usage history, payment record, etc..
Verizon Wireless phone upgrade standard policy.
The customer must be in:
- 11th month of their contract if on a one-year service agreement
- 22nd month of their contract if on a two-year service agreement
- Your account must be in good standing and without any late fees
- Must extend your contract for 24 months from the end of your existing contract .
Note that when you extend your contract length on a family plan for a single phone, all lines of service will be extended to the new contract.
Upgrade eligibility is solely determined by Verizon Wireless at its discretion.
